What’s New in WPRentals 3.19.0

WPRentals 3.19.0 is out, and it is one of the biggest releases we have shipped. You can now buy WPRentals directly from us and take updates straight in your dashboard, your site can speak your guests’ language, and you can design every page yourself on Elementor Free.

Here is everything that is new.

Buy WPRentals directly on wprentals.org

WPRentals is now available on wprentals.org as well as ThemeForest, and the theme works happily with either.

  • One licence field, two kinds of key — the licence form accepts a ThemeForest purchase code or a wprentals.org License Key, at WP Admin > WPRentals Site Settings > WPRentals License. Here is how to find yours.
  • Updates arrive in your dashboard — sites registered with a wprentals.org License Key receive theme updates directly in Dashboard > Updates, with no Envato Market plugin and no manual re-upload. See how updating works.
  • One less plugin to install — on License Key sites the Envato Market plugin is no longer offered in the recommended plugins list, because you no longer need it.

Go multilingual with the new WPEstate Translate plugin

WPEstate Translate is a translation plugin built specifically for WPRentals, so it understands properties, owners and bookings instead of treating them as generic posts.

See it live: honolulu.wprentals.org

What it does:

  • Translate everything that matters — properties, pages, blog posts, owner profiles, property categories, cities, areas and amenities, plus your navigation menus.
  • Clean multilingual URLs — each language gets its own prefix, while your default language keeps its normal, unprefixed URLs.
  • SEO handled for you — hreflang and canonical tags are generated automatically so search engines index each language version correctly.
  • Automatic translation — connect DeepL, Google Translate, Microsoft Azure or OpenAI and translate a listing in one click, then edit the result by hand.
  • Interface string editor — every theme label, button and form field can be edited per language from a searchable database in wp-admin. No .po files, no FTP.
  • Language switcher — drop the switcher widget anywhere on the front end, and jump between language versions from the admin bar while you work.
  • Elementor-aware — Elementor page content is translated section by section, and widget references are remapped so a translated page points at the right search form, agent grid or block.
  • Language-specific menus — assign a different menu to each language and keep translated menu items in sync.
The Languages Manager in WPEstate Translate, listing English, Espanol, Catala and Francais with locale, slug, URL base and flag for each.
Languages Manager — add a language, set its locale, URL slug and flag, and pick which one is the default.
The Automatic Translation settings screen with a translation engine selector and API key field.
Automatic Translation — pick your engine, paste an API key, and tune the prompt used for each translation.
The String Translation screen showing theme strings with a translation field for each language.
Theme & Plugins Strings — every interface label, side by side in every language.

WPRentals Elementor Studio now works with Elementor Free

Elementor Studio gives you full template building on Elementor Free — no Elementor Pro licence required. You build a layout once, then tell WPRentals where to use it.

You can create and assign custom templates for:

  • Single Property Page
  • Single Owner
  • Single Post
  • Category Template
  • Header, Before Header and After Header
  • Footer, Before Footer and After Footer
  • Reusable Blocks you can place anywhere

That covers the pages that were previously fixed by the theme. If you want your single property page to lead with the gallery, or your owner page to open with reviews, you can simply build it that way.

The Contact Form Builder for Elementor now supports your custom fields too, so enquiry forms can collect exactly what your business needs. See how to build a custom contact form.

The WPRentals Studio Templates list showing templates for Single Post, Footer, Header, Single Owner and Single Property Page, with a language column and per-language filter tabs.
Studio Templates — one row per template, with the page type it takes over and the languages it exists in.

A new demo: Cabos

We have added a new demo you can import with one click: cabos.wprentals.org. As always, it installs with the One Click Demo Import plugin, content and settings included.

Better bookings, right from the calendar

The Check-Out field is now locked by default, so guests pick both dates inside the Check-In calendar. It is a calmer, more predictable flow, and choosing a check-out date no longer disturbs the check-in date already selected. Prefer the old behaviour? Switch it off in WPRentals Theme Options > Booking Configuration > Calendar Settings. Read how the date fields work.

A single property page showing the Book Now widget with Check-in, Check-Out and Guests fields.
The Book Now widget — Check-Out stays locked until a Check-In date is chosen.

Prices exactly the way your market writes them

New advanced price and currency formatting gives you full control: thousand separator, decimal separator, number of decimals, and whether the currency symbol sits before or after the amount. Whether your guests expect 1.250,00 € or $1,250.00, WPRentals writes it their way. See the formatting options.

Redesigned invoices

Invoices have been redesigned to match the new WP-Admin look — cleaner, easier to scan, and consistent with the rest of your dashboard.

More control over layout and listings

  • Footer on Half-map layouts — you can now show the footer on the half-map layout, so your links, contact details and trust signals appear there too. Here is how to enable it.
  • Property card v3 shows 5 custom fields instead of 4 — one more detail to sell the stay before the click.
  • Per-image slider captions now work on every property page type, so each photo can tell its own part of the story.
  • Area saved independently from City — a new option stores the submission Area exactly as selected, which makes location taxonomies far easier to organise on large sites.
  • Empty mandatory fields are highlighted on the listing submission form, so owners see instantly what is missing.
  • Profile action notifications are more visible, so members always know their change was saved.
  • RTL support on mobile — right-to-left sites now mirror correctly on phones, including the slide-out menus and sliders.

PHP 8.4 ready, and smoother all round

WPRentals 3.19.0 is fully PHP 8.4 ready, so you can run the newest, fastest PHP with confidence. This release also polishes a long list of details:

  • The Bookings REST endpoint honours page and page per post, so pagination works exactly as expected.
  • The Frontend Customizer Layout Manager keeps your enabled property sections enabled after publishing.
  • Advanced Search type 4 handles an “all” category selection smoothly.
  • Google Places returns results in your site language.
  • Area dropdowns handle areas without a parent city cleanly, and advanced search runs clean when the extended option is unset.
  • The core plugin runs happily under WP-CLI without a theme, so Plesk WP Toolkit logins work as they should.

Translations included

Catalan, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish (Spain, Chile, Colombia), Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian. Please be aware translations may require edits.

How to update

If your site is registered with a wprentals.org License Key, update straight from Dashboard > Updates. If you bought on ThemeForest, update as usual from Appearance > Themes, then update the bundled plugins from the notice at the top of the screen. If you use a child theme, your customisations are untouched. Full update instructions.

As with every release, take a backup first and update on a staging copy if your site is live.
